DuraTech Extended Roof Bracket 5" to 8"
The DuraTech Extended Roof Bracket is used to stabilize the DuraTech chimney pipe above the roof when the pipe is extending 5 ft. or higher above the roof. The Extended Roof Bracket will clamp around the chimney pipe and has two adjustable length steel poles that mount to the roof deck stabilizing the pipe. The adjustable poles can extend from 67" to 114". Place the clamp just under the chimney cap and extend the poles down to the roof and position the poles 90 degrees apart. A second Extended Roof Brace is needed if the pipe is extending over 10 ft. above the roof for added stability.
Note: The Extended Roof Bracket does not provide any vertical support or load bearing.
