DuraTech Class A Wall Thimble 5" to 8"
The DuraTech Class A Wall Thimble is used to allow safe passage of the DuraTech Class A chimney pipe when passing through a combustible wall. The Wall Thimble can adjust from 4" to 10" to accommodate varying wall thickness. The interior firestop is painted black with a galvanized exterior firestop. The Thimble fits perfectly between standard 16" on center studs.
The DuraTech Class A Chimney Pipe must extend a minimum of 6" past the interior firestop in the living space before using the Class A Finish Collar transitioning to black stove pipe.
