Selkirk SuperPro / SuperVent Pitched Ceiling Support Box
The SuperPro / SuperVent Pitched/Cathedral Ceiling Support Box is used to support the chimney pipe as it passes through a cathedral ceiling. The Pitched/Cathedral Ceiling Support Box comes with a 17 in. long support box which is framed in between the rafters, a support band, and a 4 in. trim collar. The support band attaches to the outer wall of the pipe and sits inside the hole of the support box. The 4 in. trim collar provides a finished look as it passes through the ceiling material.
The box is capable of supporting up to 38 total feet of chimney pipe, while allowing a maximum of up to 15 feet of pipe below the ceiling box. The SuperPro / SuperVent Chimney Pipe must extend below the ceiling box enough to account for the clearance necessary for the stove pipe. The Class A pipe below the ceiling can be painted with high temp paint to match the stove pipe and the support box.
SuperPro and SuperVent models are compatible with each other according to the manufacturer. The 6 in. & 8 in. diameters are the SuperPro model (compatible with SuperVent). The 7 in. diameter is the SuperVent model (compatible with SuperPro).
