Rock-Vent Pellet Pipe Firestop Joist Shield

The Rock-Vent Pellet Pipe Firestop is used when the pellet pipe passes through a floor or ceiling. The Firestop Joist Shield is required for each level of the home where the pellet pipe is passing through a floor or ceiling. This is not required when passing through a roof. The Firestop component will keep the pipe centered through the joist and prevent the pipe from coming in contact with the joist.
